Bike Everywhere 2018

The City of Kenmore recognizes that active living is key to a successful city. On Monday, April 23, Kenmore City Council proclaimed May as Bike Month in the City of Kenmore. Throughout the month thousands of Washingtonians will experience the joys of bicycling through educational programs, races, commuting events, trail work days, and charity events. In Kenmore, you can enjoy Bike Month through these following activities:

Target Zero Pop-Up Tent


Monday, May 14, 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.


Stop by the Target Zero tent along the Burke-Gilman Trail at Log Boom Park, 6101 NE 175th St, between the hours of 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to try out a bus bike rack, grab some after-work snacks, and resources.


Bike Everywhere Day Celebration


Friday, May 18, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.


Join us to celebrate Bike Everywhere Day on Friday, May 18, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at 192 Brewing Company located along the Burke-Gilman Trail at 7234 NE 175th St. This free, family-friendly event will feature live music, snacks, bike maintenance station, local vendors, a bus bike rack to try out, bike decorating station, giveaways, and safety resources. During this month-long celebration of pedal-powered movement, Cascade Bicycle Club hosts the Washington Bikes Bike Everywhere Challenge, an online trip-tracking contest May 1-31, F5 Bike Everywhere Day, a streetside celebration all throughout the region on May 18, free bicycling classes for newbies and other community events aimed at encouraging people to bike more or for the first time.
