Block Watch Program

The Kenmore Police Department wants to build a partnership with the citizens of Kenmore through Community-Oriented Policing. This is not a new concept, but simply a method of policing which dates back to the 17th century. It is nothing more than police officers and private citizens working together to help solve community problems related to crime, the fear of crime along with social and neighborhood concerns.

Once you establish your block watch, you will have monthly scheduled meeting in your homes with a patrol officer who is assigned to patrol your neighborhood to discuss crime trends and to answer any questions. Block watches are a great way to get to know your neighbors. It takes all of us working together to make our community a safer place to live.
