Councilmember Stacey Denuski

Councilmember Denuski currently holds Position No. 7 on the City Council.

Stacey Denuski was born in Seattle and grew up in Shoreline.  She moved to Kenmore in 2001, where she and her husband Marat are raising two boys. Stacey has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and is a flight test engineer for the Boeing Company.  


Outside of being a Councilmember, she has volunteered for city projects such as helping Kenmore become a Kaboom Playful City and Let’s Move City.  She has continued with both these projects as a Councilmember.  She has been an active member of the PTA, leading the playground restoration project and the Social Service committee at Kenmore Elementary, acquiring lunch grants for Kenmore Junior High, and participating as a task force member for the Northshore Community Kitchen. Stacey has also led playground builds at Rhododendron and Northshore Summit Park, and was a co-founder of Kenmore’s annual Play Day.
