The City of Kenmore is seeking food and non-profit vendors for their summer special event season. Our summer season includes:
- Kenmore 4th of July Fireworks Show is held over the north end of Lake Washington at our beautiful Log Boom Park. The event runs from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m., with fireworks blasting off at 10 p.m. Vending time is from 8-10 p.m. Attendance at this event within the park is approximately 1,500 people.
- The 14th annual Kenmore Summer Concert Series is held at the beautiful 316-acre Saint Edward State Park in Kenmore. This popular series occurs Thursday evenings, July 7th – August 11th from 6-8 p.m. Attendance ranges from 400-1300 people at each of these concerts. We ask our summer concert vendors to commit to all 6 concerts for a total vending cost of $180.00 for the concert series.
- Kenmore Play Day is held at Kenmore’s Rhododendron Park. The event runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This event attracts over 600 people to the park to play and learn about healthy living. Kenmore Play Day is part of the national KaBoom! movement that works with communities to keep families active.
If you are interested in applying to be a vendor at one or both of these events, please email me or download the vendor application form. Vendor applications are due March 18, with vendors selection announced on March 31.
Special Events in Kenmore are expanding and so is the opportunity to get involved in your local community. Events gather a community together, help educate and enlighten, and foster community pride. New events are added frequently, check in often to this events web page to stay updated on all the fun activities happening in Kenmore in 2016.

A day to “give back” to the community. Celebrate Earth Day by picking up litter or beautifying the common space around your neighborhood. Additional details to come.

Celebrate the Fourth of July with a spectacular fireworks show over Lake Washington. Activity booths and food trucks will operate from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The fireworks spectacle will blast off at 10:00 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, as seating is limited. Please no tents, fireworks, or alcohol. City advises keeping pets at home.
*A reminder that the sale, discharge, or possession of any fireworks is prohibited in Kenmore city limits.

National Night Out Against Crime

Join the Kenmore Police Department for the annual National Night Out Against Crime. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at City Hall and includes free food, home and personal safety information, and activities. All ages are encouraged to attend!
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Kenmore Play Day
10 am – 2 pm

This popular, free community event offers kids of all ages an opportunity to discover the fun of play by participating in a variety of activity booths. Stay tuned for details.
