Development Services 

Development Services is responsible for oversight of proposed development through the development review process and oversight of permitting throughout the City. The department's mission is to implement the City Council's vision of providing a safe and pleasant community while improving the quality of life in our community.

View available codes including the Kenmore Municipal Code, road standards, surface water, and others.

Forms:
View available forms including: general forms, planning checklists, building checklists, engineering checklists, preapplication conference application and information handouts.

Fees:
The 2013 fee schedule is for your information only, and might not be the complete information you need for your project. For questions, please contact the Department of Land Development and Permitting at 425-398-8900 or permittech@kenmorewa.gov.

Building Inspections:
Inspections are required for all permitted projects. Inspection requests may be submitted through mybuildingpermit.com or by phone at (425) 398-8900 ext. 3333. All inspection requests must be submitted before 5 p.m. to receive an inspection the following business day. For electrical work, contact Washington State Labor and Industries at (425) 990-1400 or www.wa.gov/lni/electrical.

Permit Status:
Customers can visit mybuildingpermit.com, type in an address or permit number for Kenmore and view permit information including application information, status, description of the project and fees.

Code Compliance:
The Code Compliance Officer is responsible for enforcement of violations of the Kenmore Municipal Code, including but not limited to: Construction Code, Fire Code, Surface Water, Nuisance, and Junk Vehicles and Sign Code.

Land Use Notices:
Review published land use notices. Available for viewing during comment period only.

Hearing Examiner:
The Land Use Hearing Examiner process and is designed to assist those who participate in land use decision-making processes.

Maps:
View available maps of the City, property and zoning, environmentally critical areas, traffic, stormwater, and others.
