DESCRIPTION:The Arts of Kenmore is pleased to announce that the Kenmore Art Show is returning after a 7 year break!
We will bring artists and the community together to enjoy Photography and 2D Artwork
Location: Kenmore Camera Studios, 6708 NE 181st ST, Kenmore, WA 98028.
Dates: August 16-18, 2024.
SHOW SCHEDULE
Friday, August 16, SHOW OPENS
- 12-6:30 Show opens to the public
5:30-6:30 Award Ceremony and Artists Reception
Saturday, August 17
- 10am – 4:30pm Show is open to the public
Sunday, August 18
- 12pm-4:30pm Show is open to public
Updates and added events will be on the kenmore-art-show website.
Kenmore Art Show (KAW) will feature two categories this year.
- 2D Artwork will include paintings, drawings, collages, scratch boards, prints, mixed media, etc. Giclee prints are not accepted. Gallery-wrap canvas must have edges finished (painted) and dry.
- Photography may be black & white, monochrome or color. The image must be made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or captured digitally. All elements must be original and may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else. The photograph must represent a single image. Digital applications may be applied but not to the extent that the original appearance is drastically altered. Please identify the image source (film or digital).
- There will be artist awards for each category will have 1st ($200), 2nd ($150) and 3rd ($100) prizes. There will also be a Best in Show ($300) and People’s Choice ($200).
