DESCRIPTION:<p>Calling the citizens of Kenmore!&nbsp; The Arts of Kenmore is your Local Arts Agency and is here to bring access to art of all kinds to you and provide opportunities for artists to share their art.&nbsp; Art can serve as a celebration of both our common human experience and our uniqueness.</p><p>Our annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 14<sup>th</sup>, 2025, at 6pm at Kenmore City Hall. You are invited to this meeting where our annual budget is approved and our officer and board member elections are held. Best yet, you will get a sneak preview of our 2025 proposed calendar of events. </p><p>If you don’t want to be watching from the sidelines, please contact our nominating committee and talk about your interest in serving on the board, or nominating someone you know!&nbsp; Our nominating committee chair is Cherry van Overstraeten.&nbsp; You may send your inquiry to <a href="mailto:&#97;&#114;&#116;&#115;&#111;&#102;&#107;&#101;&#110;&#109;&#111;&#114;&#101;1&#64;&#103;&#109;&#97;&#105;&#108;&#46;&#99;&#111;&#109;">artsofkenmore1@gmail.com</a> and put “Nomination for AOK board” in the subject line.&nbsp; The board member information/application form is available for you to submit on the <a href="https://forms.gle/3EGcMQ7pyFo6XYyh9">artsofkenmore.org website</a> or at <a href="https://forms.gle/3EGcMQ7pyFo6XYyh9">https://forms.gle/3EGcMQ7pyFo6XYyh9</a></p><p>Board members are required to attend 7 of 10 monthly meetings, in person or via zoom.&nbsp; Meetings are held on the 4<sup>th</sup> Tuesday of the month, with the exception of the January annual meeting and no meetings are held in August and December.&nbsp; Meetings average between 1 hour and 1.5 hours.</p><ul>    <li>Share skills and volunteer time (1-2 hours) between meetings.</li>    <li>Volunteer at a minimum of 2 events a year.</li>    <li>Support the Kenmore art show with at least 4 volunteer hours at the show or in a support role.</li>    <li>Agree to act in accordance with the by-laws of The Arts of Kenmore.</li></ul><p>Learn more:&nbsp;<a href="https://artsofkenmore.com/" target="_blank">https://artsofkenmore.com/</a></p>
