Centrally located in the heart of Kenmore, this park features one of the largest public collections of hybrid rhododendrons in the Northwest. In addition to beautiful rhododendrons, the 13-acre park features two play areas, basketball court, picnic shelter, pedestrian access trails, walkways & boardwalk, large green space, river access, floating dock for hand powered watercraft and restroom facilities. The park is also home to the Kenmore Senior Center, which is open Monday -Friday, 9am - 3pm.

In 2021, a new addition to Rhododendron Park was completed. The Kenmore Boathouse is a 2,800-sq-ft public rowing shell house located at the northern end of the park. In 2022, The three Cedar tree sculptures by Jennifer Dixon were installed and serve as markers along the pathway and boardwalk from the park past the Kenmore Boathouse to the Sammamish River. Each Cedar log tells the story of water, land, and trees and connects park users to the surrounding natural environment.
