Juanita Dr NE Reduced to Single Lane Starting August 3

Starting as soon as August 3, the construction team will reduce Juanita Dr NE / 68th Ave NE to a single lane through the NE 170th St intersection to install a new watermain.

This work will have significant impacts on traffic. Expect major delays (up to 30 minutes) and please plan ahead.

What to expect:

• Northbound and southbound traffic will alternate use of one lane controlled by flaggers through the work zone. Uniformed police officers will control the NE 170th St intersection traffic movements, with the traffic light flashing red.
• Keep an eye out for instructions from flaggers as you approach the work zone and uniformed police officers in the intersection.
• Lane closures affecting this intersection will be in place for up to two weeks, Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM. Mobilization and some light work may occur before and after these hours.
• The speed limit has been reduced to 25 MPH throughout the work zone for the safety of the public and construction team.
