Want to work with the City of Kenmore? Below is a list of current projects for which the City of Kenmore is seeking bids, Request for Proposals (RFPs), or Request for Qualifications (RFQs). Each project notice contains instructions on how interested parties can obtain detailed information for the project.

City of Kenmore Surface Water Utility Rates & General Facilities Charge Analysis and Rate Study

Notice is hereby given that the City of Kenmore, Washington (the City) seeks Proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) #22-C2892. A proposal submitted in response to this RFP must be filed with the City electronically by 4:00 PM local time on January 23, 2023. Hardcopy proposals or proposals transmitted using facsimile will not be accepted. 

The City of Kenmore is soliciting for an experienced firm to review evaluate the City's model for determining SWM utility rates and the general facility charge for new development. The firm will rely on information provided by the City, including current and future operational and staffing needs, anticipated future growth, budget and CIP documents, planning documents, and other relevant information. 

Based on the information provided by the City, the firm will develop a model that will recommend a six-year surface water utility rate structure as well as general facility charge for new development. The firm will provide a final report with findings, analysis, description of methodologies, and recommendations for new utility rates and a general facility charge (GFC) for the next six years (2024-2029).
