Councilmember Loutsis currently holds Position No. 7 on the City Council.

Nathan was born and raised in Kenmore, attending Northshore public schools and graduating from Inglemoor High School. He is a fourth-generation Kenmore resident.
He graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Political Science: International Security and studied Public Policy and Leadership. Nathan is currently completing his Masters of Public Administration degree at the University of Washington's Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. He has been a Center for American Politics and Public Policy research fellow, Jackson Munro Public Service fellow, and NextGen Civic Leader Corps scholar for his research and service in public policy, especially at the local level.
Nathan has served on the Kenmore Planning Commission and formerly worked as a Kenmore Public Works employee. He was awarded the McMaster Emerging Leader Award by the Kenmore Heritage Society in 2021. In 2024, he earned his Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) from the Association of Washington Cities.
Councilmember Loutsis represents the Council on several regional committees, including the Eastside Transportation Partnership, Seashore Transportation Forum, and as an alternate on the board of the Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area.
