What We Do:
The Development Services Department regulates land development and construction throughout the city based on adopted codes and regulations. The Department is also responsible for Code Enforcement, which includes resolution and abatement of code violations. Together, adopted codes and committed staff members work every day to help all people love where they live.

The Development Services team is dedicated to providing excellent customer service that is predictable, responsive, professional, kind, fair, and helpful. Our goal is to ensure building safety, enforce adopted codes, support the comprehensive plan, protect the environment, uphold Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) values, and process permit applications efficiently and consistently.
