Regional Data

Homelessness

  • 2024 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count: The King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) published the 2024 PIT data, which is a metric required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to estimate the number of people experiencing homelessness annually in King County. The report found that on any given night, there are an estimated 16,868 individuals experiencing homelessness in King County. Read more details and access a downloadable report on the KCRHA Point-In-Time (PIT) webpage.

Youth

  • 2023 Healthy Youth Survey: Every two years, the Northshore School District participates in the Washington State Healthy Youth Survey (HYS) sponsored by the Washington State Department of Health and other state agencies. The HYS measures important indicators of youth health, including mental health indicators and related risk and protective factors. Student participation is voluntary and anonymous.
